“Jill Lerner’s Serigraphy class wanted to have an exhibition but did not want to go about it by any conventional means. Instead, the class decided to respond directly to the space of the Crossley Gallery. Printing on the floor of the space, in pattern, in white ink, to unify each image as part of a whole. Becoming not only a social experiment, but a question of the role of image making itself.”
